How to make a cozy anime video in Higgsfield with Seedance 2.0

Every cozy anime Reel I post is generated in Higgsfield with Seedance 2.0. This is the exact process, click by click, from a blank ChatGPT chat to a finished 15-second video. Do the prep first, then open Higgsfield; the order matters if you want the discount.

What you need

• A ChatGPT account (for the character, story, storyboard and prompt)
• A Higgsfield account (step 3)
• About 20 minutes for your first video
• One small, cozy idea: rain, a midnight snack, a cat interrupting

Step 1: Make your storyboard in ChatGPT

Seedance follows a picture far better than a paragraph, so the storyboard comes first. In one ChatGPT chat, create your character, ask for a video idea, then ask for the storyboard image:

I like the idea. Create a storyboard image for that video using the same character.
The storyboard should contain 8-12 shots which will be used as the reference image in Seedance 2.0.
Label each panel with a shot number and timecode only.
Keep the character's face, hair, outfit, the room and the props identical in every panel.

Check every panel before moving on: same face, same outfit, same props, one action per panel. If a panel is wrong, ask ChatGPT to redraw just that one. Download the final image.

Step 2: Write the Seedance 2.0 prompt

Still in the same chat, ask for the video prompt. Keep it under 4,000 characters and make sure it has a timed shot list and continuity rules:

Now give me a prompt that will guide Seedance 2.0 to generate the video from this storyboard. Keep it under 4,000 characters.
Use these sections: character consistency, visual style, shot sequence with timestamps, camera and transitions, audio, ending, and a final list of things to avoid.
Treat the storyboard as the primary visual reference.
No dialogue.

Copy the result somewhere handy. Now you have the two things Higgsfield needs: the storyboard image and the prompt.

Step 3: Sign up through the link and pick a plan

Now open Higgsfield through my link and create your account.

Step 4: Generate the video

1. Open Text to Video

   This is the mode I use for every video.

2. Select Seedance 2.0

   It's the model my Reels are made with, and the one the prompt from step 2 is written for.

3. Add the storyboard as the reference image

   Upload the image from step 1. The prompt tells Seedance to treat it as the primary visual reference.

4. Paste the prompt

   The full prompt from step 2, unchanged.

5. Set duration and format

   15 seconds, 9:16 vertical for Reels. Turn audio generation on if it's available.

6. Generate

   Then watch it once all the way through before changing anything.

Step 5: Fix one thing at a time

Your first generation won't always be perfect. Don't rewrite the whole prompt. Find the one shot that broke and make that action more literal:

• Extra hand → “Maximum two human hands visible”
• Dish appears too early → “Do not show the finished dish before it is made”
• Outfit changes → restate the outfit, add “no costume changes”
• Cat changes size → describe its size next to the character
• Random text appears → “No text, subtitles or logos”
